Jari Ketomaa´s first event in S-WRC series did get very unlucky start as Finnish Champion had to stop in Rally Jordan starting ramp after engine trouble in his Ford Fiesta S2000.
Ketomaa and co-driver Mika Stenberg did start again on the second day with Super-Rally rule but unlucky times followed again as alternator belt broke and Finnish pair had to retire for the second time.
Before that Ketomaa was fastest S-WRC driver on SS8 by 4,4 seconds.
Last day of Rally Jordan was - at last - good day for Ketomaa. He did finish every stage in top three in his class.
Final position was sixth place after some other competitors had bad luck on their side during Saturday.
- After totally unlucky start we managed well on final stages. Shanghai FCACA Rally Team did very good job with the rally car and my new car run perfectly. I really enjoyed driving it, told Ketomaa.
- Our speed was competitive even if I didn´t take here any risks with my driving. I´m sure we have enough speed to win rallies later this season when coming events and also the car are more familiar to me.
Ketomaa´s next event is Rally of New Zealand on beginning of May.
