Jari Ketomaa has good chance to show his speed in Neste Oil Rally Finland at the end of July, when multiple Finnish Champion is driving with top car.
Ketomaa and his manager Kim Vatanen negotiated with both Ford and new manufacturer Mini. At the end of last week they agreed with M-Sport to enter to coming event with Ford Fiesta RS WRC.
- We did chose the offer from Ford as they are providing very competitive car. Team director Malcolm Wilson also informed his desire to have another Finnish driver behind the wheel of Fiesta RS WRC, told Ketomaa.
Ketomaa will have a test with Fiesta one week before Rally Finland. Before that Ketomaa and co-driver Mika Stenberg are competing with MML Sports´ Mitsubishi R4-car in Rally Estonia.
In Rally Finland Ketomaa has his very first chance to compete with current top machinery.
- I have a great chance to compete against all WRC drivers. I´m very happy for this opportunity which provides me a chance to reach good result, said Ketomaa.
Jari Ketomaa finished seventh in 2009 Rally Finland with Subaru Impreza WRC´s older model.
In 2010 Ketomaa finished 8th in New Zealand and 9th in Rally Japan with Ford Fiesta S2000. During the S-WRC season he won three rounds and clinched more stage wins than any other driver in his class.
